Not quite a bakery, but nearly so. I'm feeling very motivated and have been eating well, but I just began this journey of mine so that's a given. I'm afraid that, the longer I persist, the more my motivation will wane, and the house I live in just makes it so much harder to stay on track.
Everyone in my household has a major sweet tooth (myself included). AT THIS MOMENT there are oreos, chocolate chip cookies, half a dozen glazed donuts, and a box of entenmann's crumb cake in my fridge. In my freezer there's a box of york peppermint-chocolate icecream, a case of cookie dough ice cream (haagen dazs), and a tub of vanilla ice cream. Lying on the counter is an unopened box of poundcake, 2 packs of potato chips, and some leftover christmas candy.
No, I'm not lying.
In addition to sweets, we're really big on salty/greasy foods. So if it's not the cake that's enticing you, it's the steaming pan of cheesy lasagna or plate of home-made cheesebugers and fries.
It is torture.
I can't really expect everyone in my house to forego what they love to eat for me (though that would be nice...), and so I need some tips on how to endure this environment better.
Suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
